We received a Uniden R4 unit. The device originally used a 12V power supply, but was mistakenly connected to 24V, causing some internal electronic components to burn out. The location of the damage has been confirmed, and whether other circuits are affected is still under investigation.

Equipment Information:
Brand: Uniden
Model: R4
Equipment type: Speed camera sensor

Fault symptoms:
The equipment malfunctioned after being input with a voltage higher than the original specifications. Upon disassembly, it was observed that some electronic components had been visibly burned.

Current status:
First, identify the damaged area and continue to check whether the overvoltage has caused other circuit abnormalities. Subsequent testing and handling results will be continuously updated in this case study.
