• Access, interfere with, damage, overload, or disrupt the website, its servers, networks, databases, or security systems without authorization.
• Use automated tools, scraping methods, bulk extraction, or similar technologies to copy website content or data without prior written permission.
• Impersonate another person or organization, submit false information, or falsely suggest that you are affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by E-FACTORY.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, harmful files, unlawful content, or materials that infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights.
• Use the website for fraud, abuse, harassment, unlawful transactions, infringement, or any activity that may harm E-FACTORY, its customers, service providers, or other users.

Intellectual Property and Third-Party References

Unless otherwise stated, the text, layout, graphics, photographs, videos, case descriptions, database structure, service names, and other original content on this website are owned by E-FACTORY or used under valid authorization or as permitted by law.
Third-party equipment brands, product names, model numbers, part numbers, trademarks, and images are used primarily for identification, compatibility comparison, service records, or informational reference. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, E-FACTORY does not guarantee that all website information will always be complete, current, error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every purpose. We are not responsible for decisions, losses, delays, equipment damage, business interruption, data loss, or other consequences resulting solely from reliance on unverified website information, unless liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Updates and Governing Law

We may revise these terms when necessary due to changes in law, website functions, service procedures, security requirements, third-party tools, or business operations. Updated terms will take effect on the date published or on the effective date stated on the page.
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Any dispute should first be addressed through good-faith communication. If the matter cannot be resolved, it will be handled by the competent court or authority in accordance with applicable law.
02 / SERVICE TERMS

Repair, Evaluation & Supply Terms

Applicable to PCB inspection, repair, replication feasibility assessment, parts or equipment supply, and joint development projects.

Scope of Application and Order of Precedence

These Terms apply to industrial equipment and circuit board inspection, fault assessment, repair, testing, reverse engineering or replication feasibility assessment, parts and equipment procurement and supply, alternative product recommendations, joint development, equipment loans, and other related services provided by E-FACTORY.
The items, quantities, prices, taxes, lead times, payment terms, delivery arrangements, warranties, acceptance criteria, and special risks applicable to each project shall be determined by the quotation, purchase order, consent form, project documents, emails, or other confirmation records that can be retained by both parties. Any individually confirmed terms shall take precedence over the general provisions stated on this page.

Authority to Engage Our Services and Source of Submitted Items

You confirm that you have ownership, lawful possession, usage rights, or sufficient authorization to engage E-FACTORY to handle any equipment, circuit boards, firmware, drawings, software, or technical information submitted for repair, inspection, procurement, or comparison purposes. If any third-party rights, confidentiality obligations, export controls, or other restrictions apply, you must inform us in advance and obtain all necessary permissions.
We reserve the right to refuse cases involving items of unknown origin, suspected infringement, high risks to personal safety, legal restrictions, severe contamination, inability to be handled safely, or those exceeding our equipment and technical capabilities.

Receiving, Preliminary Evaluation, and Disassembly

Receiving records, exterior photos, customer descriptions, and preliminary inspections only reflect the observable condition at that time and do not equate to a complete fault diagnosis. If casings, seals, potting compounds, coatings, solder joints, or components must be disassembled, removed, or measured, it may leave marks, affect original protection, or make full restoration impossible.
When significant disassembly, destructive testing, removal of critical components, or other processes that alter the original state are involved, we will obtain your confirmation as required by the case before proceeding. If necessary consent is not obtained or safety conditions are lacking, we may halt the evaluation and charge agreed-upon inspection or labor fees based on the work already completed.

Quotation, Establishment, and Payment

Website content, communications, or preliminary verbal explanations are not final quotations. Official amounts and conditions are subject to a valid quotation or mutually confirmed documents; unless otherwise indicated, quotations may not include business tax, shipping, customs duties, third-party inspection fees, on-site installation fees, or other additional costs.
A case is generally established upon your signing and returning the quotation, placing an order, paying the agreed amount, or providing explicit consent via retrievable methods such as email or messaging. Documents that can be legally completed via electronic files or electronic signatures, when agreed upon by both parties to be in electronic form, may serve as transaction and confirmation records.
Payment terms and methods are handled according to individual documents. If payment is overdue, necessary information is not provided, the subject item is not delivered, or other preconditions are unmet, we may suspend scheduling, procurement, repair, delivery, or warranty processing. Relevant timelines will be recalculated once the obstacles are resolved.

Lead Time and Customer Cooperation

Lead times are reasonable estimates based on information available at the time and may be adjusted due to fault complexity, discontinued or out-of-stock parts, international shipping, sample comparison, test equipment availability, customer response times, specification changes, third-party suppliers, or force majeure. Unless a specific delivery date is explicitly stated in individual documents, estimated times are not considered absolute deadlines.
You should promptly provide the correct model number, serial number, fault symptoms, usage environment, wiring and power supply information, normal working samples, testing conditions, and other necessary data. Insufficient or incorrect information may affect judgments, quotations, lead times, and outcomes.

Repair and Evaluation Results

Industrial equipment and boards may suffer from aging, intermittent faults, previous modifications, circuit damage, contamination, corrosion, discontinued parts, or non-reproducible issues. Inspection and repair are conducted based on the received condition, available data, testing conditions, and reasonable judgment; this does not mean all potential problems will be discovered, nor does it guarantee that all on-site faults can be reproduced without the complete machine or actual load.
If it is determined that repair is not cost-effective, critical parts cannot be obtained, risks are too high, or necessary samples or test conditions are lacking, we may propose halting the work, adopting alternative solutions, returning the item, or providing a separate quotation. Completed disassembly, measurement, documentation, research, procurement, or other work will still be billed according to individual agreements.

Parts, Equipment, and Alternative Supply

Supplied items may be new, new old stock (NOS), original, compatible, refurbished, salvaged, or in other conditions, subject to individual quotations and item descriptions. If originally specified parts are discontinued, out of stock, or subject to significant lead time changes, we will propose alternative options or updated conditions and proceed upon confirmation.
Customers should verify the brand, model, specifications, voltage, pinout, software/hardware version, installation, and on-site compatibility before use. Unless we explicitly guarantee specific full-machine compatibility in writing, suggestions made solely based on appearance, partial part numbers, or incomplete information do not constitute a guarantee of direct replaceability.

Replication Feasibility and Joint Development

Replication feasibility assessments, reverse engineering, prototyping, and joint development involve technical uncertainties; initial feasibility does not guarantee successful mass production, nor does it guarantee achieving all identical functions, lifespan, certifications, or environmental tolerance of the original. Stage deliverables, testing standards, number of revisions, sample returns, project fees, and termination conditions shall be separately defined in project documents.
Pre-existing technologies, tools, common modules, methods, and intellectual property owned prior to the project remain the property of their original owners; newly generated drawings, programs, firmware, test data, manufacturing documents, custom designs, and mass production rights resulting from the project shall be handled according to a written agreement between both parties. Until agreed upon, the payment of evaluation or sample fees does not automatically transfer all intellectual property rights.

Testing, Acceptance, and Reporting

Testing is limited to the equipment, fixtures, signals, loads, software versions, and conditions accessible to both parties. If only bench testing, static measurement, or simulated testing can be performed, the results do not equate to full-machine operational verification. When client-side operational testing is required, you must complete it within a reasonable agreed timeframe and provide decipherable results.
Upon receiving the item, please first verify the item type, quantity, appearance, and documentation, and proceed with installation or acceptance according to individual agreements. If shipping damage, mismatched items, or suspected abnormalities are found, you must immediately stop further use, retain the packaging, photos, error messages, and test records, and notify us promptly to facilitate assessment.

Warranty and Exclusions

Warranty periods, start dates, coverage, and handling methods are subject to the quotation, warranty documents, or individual confirmation. Repair warranties are generally limited to the fault locations or scope of work confirmed and processed in this instance; warranties for supplied items are handled based on item condition, manufacturer conditions, and individual documents.
The following situations are typically excluded from warranty coverage, unless specifically agreed otherwise in individual documents:
• Incorrect wiring, overvoltage, undervoltage, power surges, lightning strikes, static electricity, overheating, water ingress, corrosion, contamination, impact, vibration, or improper environments.
• Subsequent damage caused by failure to operate according to specifications, exceeding rated conditions, other faults in the complete machine, abnormal external loads, or on-site wiring issues.
• Unauthorized disassembly, modification, firmware changes, part replacement, or destruction of seals or identification marks.
• Consumables, natural aging, cosmetic differences, faults not originally entrusted for repair, or intermittent issues that cannot be reproduced.
Warranty claims must include the case number, fault description, on-site conditions, and necessary test data. We reserve the right to inspect first to determine if the issue falls within warranty coverage; if it does not, we will separately advise of potential costs before proceeding further. Statutory warranties against defects or consumer rights that cannot be legally excluded are not affected by this clause.

Delivery, Shipping, and Safekeeping of Items

Pickup, mailing, freight, or other delivery methods are handled according to individual documents. Before shipping, please ensure proper anti-static, anti-shock, anti-moisture, and secure packaging; liability for shipping damage and claim procedures will be handled in accordance with the carrier's rules, individual agreements, and applicable laws.
After a case is completed, halted, or a notification for retrieval is issued, the customer must make payment and retrieve the item within the agreed or reasonable period. If overdue, we may issue another notice and charge reasonable storage fees according to individual agreements; any subsequent disposal will be handled via legal procedures or separate written agreements, and this page's text alone will not be deemed as the customer waiving their ownership rights.

Modifications, Cancellations, and Terminations

If a customer requests modifications or cancellation after a case is established, fees for purchased custom or non-returnable parts, completed inspections, disassembly, design, manufacturing, labor hours, shipping, and third-party costs may be charged based on actual progress and individual agreements. If modifications affect specifications, costs, or lead times, both parties must reconfirm.
If one party commits a material breach of agreement, refuses necessary cooperation, the case involves illegalities or safety risks, or it becomes objectively impossible to continue performance, the other party may suspend or terminate the case in accordance with the law and individual documents, and settle the completed work and necessary expenses.

Liability, Force Majeure, and Disputes

Both parties shall be responsible for the information, instructions, equipment, and performance actions they provide. For damages attributable to us, we will be liable in accordance with applicable laws and individual agreements; these terms do not pre-exclude liability for intent, gross negligence, product or service safety, or other liabilities that cannot be restricted by law.
In the event of delays or inability to perform caused by natural disasters, war, pandemics, government controls, power outages, transportation disruptions, major supply chain anomalies, or other events reasonably beyond control, the affected party must promptly notify the other and take reasonable mitigation measures. Both parties shall then negotiate to adjust the lead time, find alternative solutions, or terminate and settle the case.
These service terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). In the event of a dispute, both parties should first attempt to resolve it through negotiation based on case records and individual documents; if litigation is necessary, the competent court will be determined by applicable law, without affecting the statutory rights that consumers may assert.
Important Reminder: The website content only provides a general transaction framework. Actual conditions for quotations, repairs, procurement, warranties, and joint development remain subject to the quotation, consent form, order, and mutual confirmation records for that specific case.
